The curtain comes down at Goldington Road on Friday night as we host Coventry for what seems an unreasonably premature end to the league season.
After the pandemic we are just pleasd to have been able to enjoy some rugby and we've had some tremendous games and one or two damp squibs. As ever.
We go into this game with great uncertainity hanging over rugby and the Championship, in particular.
There are so many issues affecting the Premiership moe than other leagues. Why have a 12 team league when others have 14? Why allow the Premiership clubs to trerat the league as an opoortuibity for a run-out for their fringe players? Why treat a loyal rugby community such as Bedford's with such disdain?
