The fact that nobody knows where the final of the Championship Cup is to be held speaks volumes as to how HQ views the competition. Nevertheless, Blues host Pirates only one point down from the first leg of the quarter final, and anything close to last week's 38-37 scoreline would go down well with those celebrating Ladies' Day at Goldington Road - as long as Blues go through, of course.
Tom Litchfield comes in for the Blues at outside centre with Connor Tupai starting at scrum half.
Pirates have a big pack so the return of Karl Wilkins from Saints could see him come off the bench.
The official site is also flagging up that this could be the last home appearance for, among others, Joe Atkinson whio retires at the end of this campaign.
