Massive Game This Week

Cornish Pirates visit Goldington Road this Saturday (4.00 kick off) with Blues looking to pinch their second place.

The 32-25 defeat of Scottish cemented fourth place with 31 points from 9 games. Pirates have also played nine and have 34 points with Coventry sandwiched in between on 33 points but having played one game more.

It all sets up this week's game with this fixture usually producing lots of tries.

The same wasn't expected of the game against London Scottish, who arrived in second bottom place but began very brightly going ahead through interceptions by Hayden Hide.

Matt Worley got one back for Blues but eventually got going with Sean French crossing and Michael Le Bourgeois puttng his side in front. The second half was easier with Dean Adamson and Joe Howard sealing the win.
