Dominic Ludden injured yet again!!!

Once again Dominic Ludden has broken down in training with a mystery injury, and this injury could well see him missing the rest of the season.

Ludden, who signed last summer, has only made 3 games so far this season and so the injury comes as no surprise. It is a shame because what people have seen of him has been quite encouraging.

Surely now the club will act and possibly bring in a specialist.

The rumours are that Ludden is one of the highest paid players at the club, and this would make sense with him coming from a 1st division club. But it is clear the club has not got value for money, especially now that he will be missing the important last 5 games of the season.

We managed to get a photo of Ludden at the Shay this morning, he had just been in to see the Chairman, who will no doubt be frustrated with this latest breakdown.

We caught up with a specialist today who deals with Hypochondriacism. Dr. Heindrick Von Strinkelhousen Strousen was explaining to us a new term which is beginning to affect a small number of professional footballers. Football Phobia (balatro-bardus) is a fear of footballs. The individual players can handle the normal fitness work, but when it comes to ball skills and playing a match the fear comes almost unbearable. This does make sense because it is well known that Ludden, as funny as it sounds, has good fitness.

Dr Strosuen said that it is not uncommon to find players running away from the ball in a training session while building up a sweat as they  tie their boots before training starts. Both these symptoms have been spotted in Dominic Ludden.

What happens next is anyones guess, as yet there is no known cure for the problem, and we only hope that Ludden can get over his problem and gain a place in the first team.
