Last week we reported that the chances of Jamie Paterson
coming back to the club were very high. So we asked: How would you feel about Jamie Paterson coming back to the club? It was a split decision, but the majority said they would have been delighted to have him back at the club. The 'Wee Man' is a crowd favourite at the Shay after having two spells with the club, and he was a major part of the Conference winning team in the 1997/98 season.
But news this week from Doncaster was that Paterson had signed a new two year contract with the South Yorkshire club. If Halifax Town had not been in administration then things might have been different, but we seem quite a long way off appointing a manager, never mind starting to buy players. This weeks question is about yesterdays shock decision by Bob Walker to resign as Chairman. It is hard to blame Walker for leaving the club, but the future of the Shaymen is looking even more bleak than it was before. Walker is not happy with the way the administration team are going about their duties and felt he could no longer be a part of the set-up. Whether we see him come back in the future as part of a consortium we will have to wait and see. But the question this week is: Are you glad to see the back of Bob Walker? Cast your vote now!!!
