Neil Redfearn is to be offered the managers job at Rochdale after Halifax Town stalled on offering him the job at the Shay. This will come as another bitter blow to the Town faithful.

Redders Dale Bound?

It now seems that Neil Redfearn will be offered the position of player-manager over the border at Rochdale.

After waiting patiently the last month for his contract to be approved by O'Hara, he has now decided he cannot wait any longer and has to think about his own future.

O'Hara does not want to give Redfearn the job so that when/if a new buyer does come in they will have a clean sweep throughout the club.

O'Hara himself blamed Bob Walker for changing his mind over guaranteeing the contract for the break down, but Walker has hit back saying this is not true.

Rochdale are looking for a new manager after they parted company with John Hollins after their division three semi-final disappointment.

If Neil Redfearn does get the job at Spotland then this really will be the end of his Halifax future for which he was so desperate to be a part of.
