Halifax Town supporters have been given a possible glimmer of hope for the future when on Thursday Peter O'Hara will meet with two prospective buyers of the club.

It seems that maybe at last a serious buyer for the club has shown interest. There had been mention of interested parties by Bob Walker, but O'Hara reportedly said that the club had received no official contact from any interested parties.

The doors of O'Hara's office have been opened up to any people interested in saving the club, but what sort of response there will be is yet unknown.

So what exactly is there for anyone interested in saving the club?

At the moment the club does not have any major assets.

The Shaymen do not own the stadium. There is no manager at the club. There are 5 players on the books. The support is fading fast, and there is no cash in the bank.

O'Hara has stated all along that he didn't want to appoint a manager because it might put off any potential buyer of the club taking over. At least if anyone does come in to buy Halifax Town they will have a clean sweep and a chance to rebuild and turn the club into something we can all be proud of.
