Ex-Town Star Signs For The Cobblers

Northampton Town are the lucky ones after persuading the ex-Shaymen star Paul Harsley to sign for them. He managed 11 goals from midfield playing in a relegation bound team.

Northampton Snap Up Harsley

Harsley was one of the only bright spots in a terrible season and fully deserves his jump up a division as the Shaymen drop down into the Conference.

He was signed initially by Paul Bracewell on a free from Scunthorpe and started the season as a right back.

But it soon became clear that his best position was midfield in which he got into double figures on the scoring charts.

Harsley had his contract ripped up just like the rest of the squad when we entered into administration.

It was quite clear that without Paul we would more than likely have been relegated much sooner than we were and I am sure everyone will wish him all the best at Northampton.
