Boston 1-1 Town

Town’s pre-season campaign started with a 1-1 draw against Boston United at York Street earlier today.

Nicky Forster gave Town the lead from 12-yards as he stepped to convert the penalty he was awarded after he was brought down by Mark Albrighton on 40 minutes.

 

The second half Town team was a different 11 from that which started the game with Supple, Moore, Naylor, Wilnis, Barron, Currie, Skard, Healy, Westlake, Parkin and Clarke all coming on.

 

They held onto Town’s 1-0 lead until the final minute when Boston levelled although Town could have made the game safe long before that.

 

Town first-half: Price, Sito, Casement, De Vos, Krause, Peters, Williams, Bertin, Bopp, Forster, Bowditch.

 

Second-half: Supple, Moore, Naylor, Wilnis, Barron, Currie, Skard, Healy, Westlake, Parkin, Clarke.
