Jim: Leeds After Currie

Town manager Jim Magilton has confirmed that Leeds United want to sign Town midfielder Darren Currie.

Rumours linking Currie with a move to Leeds first emerged last month and have since been followed up by reports of swap deals involving striker David Healy and left back Danny Harding.

 

Jim: “Leeds have expressed an interest in Darren Currie and we have said we would be interested in a left-back. Danny Harding's name has come to the fore but that is as far as it has gone so far.

 

“Nothing has been made firm by Leeds and we have not decided anything.”

 

Currie joined Town from Brighton at the end of 2004 for £250,000 and has since gone on to make 62 starts and score 8 goals.
