Town manager Jim Magilton was pleased with Town’s performance against Dutch side Willem II last night.
Jim: “The boys worked extremely hard and kept going right until the end.
“It was another game under our belts leading up to the new season and was also a fantastic learning experience for the young players, in particular, to be up against a good quality continental side.
“Shane Supple had an outstanding game in goal, and Jason De Vos was immense for us.”
The game finished 1-1 thanks to a late goal from Matt Richards.
