Petkov Won’t Return

Bulgarian international defender Ivaylo Petkov has been offered a contract by a club in Turkey so will not be returning to Portman Road.

The 30-year-old was asked back to Portman Road for a second trial spell after impressing during his two days last week.

 

Town chief scout Steve McCall: “I've just taken a call this morning from the player's representatives saying that he has been offered another year in Turkey and has decided to take it up,”
