Jim Wants Walton

Town manager Jim Magilton says he would like to keep on-loan Charlton Athletic for a bit longer.

Walton said last week he wants to do his best while at Town before returning to the Valley after his month’s loan to try and break into Charlton’s first team.

 

Magilton said: “I will be speaking to Iain Dowie about Simon.

 

“He has fitted in extremely well and we would like to keep him as long as possible, although we would probably only be allowed the extra couple of months.”
