Legwinski On Switch

New Town midfielder Sylvain Legwinski has explained why he moved to Town from Fulham.

Sylvain: “I spent a few days here on trial and was very impressed with the facilities and the way the gaffer wanted to play the game, I watched the way the team played against QPR on Friday as well and liked what I saw so there was no reason not to come here.

 

“It is a drop down from the Premiership but it's a new challenge for me and one I'm looking forward to.

 

“I don't know much about Ipswich, although I did play here for Fulham a few years back. My first memory of Ipswich was when they beat St Etienne 3-1 in the UEFA Cup. That was amazing to me because at that stage I thought St Etienne were the best team in the world.”
