O'Callaghan In January?

Town may Cork City midfielder George O'Callaghan either on-loan or permanently when the transfer window opens in January.

Ill informed reports earlier this week suggested that Town were ready to offer the 28-year-old a loan at Portman Road until the end of the season but he cannot move to England until the transfer window re-opens next year.

 

Town manager Jim Magilton: “George can't sign for anyone - on loan or permanently until the transfer window opens in January.

 

“We are looking at him and he's looking at us and I know there are a few other clubs that are interested in him as well.

 

“He's done well in training and we will see how it goes but certainly no decision will be taken until January.”
