De Vos: We Must Learn

Town captain Jason De Vos says Town want to learn from the games against West Brom and Preston.

De Vos: “We showed the sort of football we are capable of in the first 45 minutes (against Preston), dominating the game against a very good Preston side and we had the chance to have up tied up the points, it was a different story in the second-half where individual mistakes cost us and it was probably the biggest Jekyll and Hyde performance I have been involved in.

 

“There is no finger pointing in our dressing-room though. Mistakes are part of football, They happen. We're all in this together and we will turn our results around.

 

“We showed for 45 minutes against Preston that we are capable of outplaying the best teams in this league and we have to retain that self-belief.

 

“There are lessons to be learned but the most important thing is that we have to play at a consistent level for 90 minutes, not for patches, or half a game, for 90 minutes. Consistency is the key.”
