Former Fulham goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobny is currently on trial at Portman Road with a view to signing him as cover for Lewis Price.

Price will be out for at least two weeks after fracturing a rib against Southend at the weekend which leaves just Andrew Plummer as cover for Shane Supple.

Drobny is 27 and a free agent after being released by Fulham in the summer, he started his career at Czech side Ceske Bodejovice before joining Greek side Panionios in 2001 and then Fulham in the summer of 2005.

Town manager Jim Magilton: “Lewis is going to be missing for a few weeks so we have decided to bring in Jaroslav on trial, we will have a look at him but there's certainly a chance that we will look to sign him for a month to give us some cover while Lewis is recovering.”
