Liverpool Youngster Linked

Town are reportedly lining up Liverpool midfielder Danny Guthrie as a replacement for Mark Noble.

The 19-year-old made his debut for Liverpool during their carling cup win against Reading last month and was on the bench for the game against Birmingham last night.

 

He was released by Manchester United at just 13 but has since progressed through the youth set up at Anfield and is currently a regular for the Reds second string.

 

If Guthrie does join Town on-loan it would almost certainly rule out any return of Tommy Miller.
