A Walk In The Snow

Sadie’s dad Marvin has sent us something for the site, see if you can spot the Town players while we walk in the snow.

“Look at this landscape, how Barron the land appears, nothing around for miles”

“The snow is laying lighter around here but I still can’t see anything lying on the ground”

“You knew how much that Casement to me and you had to use it to race Leg down that damned hill, to cap it all you didn’t tell me who won the race”

“It was not me that won, didn’t you see the bill board? Leg-win-ski challenge”

“I was doing so well too, Garvan it all that I could and I was Macken good time too, but I started to tire and it was obvious that Leg had Moore to give, he could nearly run on his skis, I finished more of a Trotter”

“A Noble effort but it doesn’t help me in getting my case back”

“I’ll buy you a new case they are a reasonable Price and I owe you anyway”

“We are going to have to give up soon and simply go back to the Hotel, it will not be light for much longer as the Knights are pulling in”

“It is starting to snow and with the light fading we will be struggling to see the Rhodes, I just hope that this snow Peters out quickly”

“I am getting cold and my normally Supple muscles now feel that they are Harding up, Oh I wish that I was back in Brittain, I would be going out for a Currie at the Miller’s inn with my mates drinking a pint of their best, one supp’le have you hooked whilst listening to Peters and Lee” (For those of you below 40 ask your parents).

“What’s the Miller’s inn like?”

“You’ll need plenty of money and a thick skull because it’s full of Rich-‘ards. The landlord knows exactly what everyone want”, “Come in and Sito-ver there and I’ll bring your drinks to you” is what he’ll say.

“If I was to go, Wil-nis be there?”

“Hasn’t been in for a while because of illness”

“I didn’t realize he was”

“No it’s not him, it’s his girlfriend”

“What Madge-ill-tone!”

“Yes she was found passed out in a ditch in Bow, the locals know it as Bow-ditch, Bruce the Plummer found her, she was head down in a few inches of water. He ruined his new pair of Clarke’s shoes in the rescue. Lucky he was passing as the grim reaper ws about to Nayl-er. Turns out she had an infection in her lower Synnott. Anyway Dr. Krause (Bit of a cop out I know) says that De-Vos that could happen now is removal of the left kidney”

“Sorry to hear that but if it does come to that she could always Rob-bert’s good kidney, he does not have long to go, I’m hungry, got anything in your pockets?”

“Only some cat food, Will-iams do?”

“Come on, there’s a path down there, look, isn’t that your Haynes manual. That was in your case so it has to be around here somewhere……..”
