Gavin Confident

Town midfielder Gavin Williams is confident of being fit for Town’s game against Stoke on Saturday.

Williams was forced off after an hour against Leeds on Saturday with a groin problem and had an injection yesterday along with scans.

Gavin: “There were no problems after the operation and I played a few games without any trouble but the Monday after the Cardiff match, it felt a bit sore, it niggled me all week and we're not sure what the problem is. It's just a case of monitoring it and hopefully the injection will do the trick.

“We didn't play that well against Leeds but it was a good three points for us and now we have to build on that against Stoke and I'm confident I will be okay for that game.”
