Naylor Wanting Place

Town defender Richard Naylor is hoping to hold down a regular first team place at Portman Road.

Naylor was left out of the starting 11 for a 7 game period earlier this season but he was restored to the team at the start of this month and now he wants to hold down that place.

 

Richard: “With the greatest respect to other players at the club I know in my own mind that I am good enough to hold down a regular place, I can't talk to him like we used to, and it is the same for Jim. We have had to distance ourselves and it has taken time to adjust.

 

“I went in to see him and let him know how I felt. It was a chat far removed from the ones we were having as team mates last season.”
