Foyster gives his opinion on the Festive fixtures to come

 Well im going to give my opinion on what will be a very busy and big festive time for Jim and Town which will give town fans a clearer view on where this season is going.

So 12 points up for grabs in 10 days and i dont think it could get any tougher for Ipswich with fixtures Stoke, Coventry, West Brom, Birmingham and im starting with tomorrow game against Stoke.

Well i never knew Stoke had such a good side, in there ranks include Fuller, Hendrie, Diao, Griffin, Berger, all fringe premiership players and you can see why they are 7th in the Championship but there is some light at the end of the tunnel as Colchester did manage to beat them 3-0 last weekend to end there little run in perfect time for us. I predict a scrappy 2-1 win for Town...just!

Moving on to what i think is the easiest game of the lot Coventry away, who i think really we can beat if we play at the top of our game. Coventry dont hold the quality that Stoke have but they still have a couple of handy players who could cause a few problems in scummer Leon McKenzie and Stern John up front... o and who can forget Mr Currie! . 2-0 Town .. im confident on this one.. put your money on it

The big one now as i see it, if we can pull off a win at West Brom, there is a chance of pushing for the play-offs but thats a big IF as West Brom, as we all saw have quality all over and they showed us with the 5-0 drumming but West Brom sometimes do not show up and if they dont we have to take the chance with both hands. Prediction: 1-1

At this stage there is no way you can tell how the Birmingham game is going to go until we all see the performances of both teams in these 3 games before but at the moment i see Birmingham beating us in this one they look way to strong. 2-0 Birmingham

So if that all happend and we got 7 points out of 12 i think that would be very good against such quality teams but it has to be kicked off in a good way tomorrow with the arrival of Stoke. Lets hope the weather does not cause problems for the game and i wish you all a merry christmas and a happy new year!
