Richards Ignoring Boos

Town midfielder Matt Richards says he will ignore the boo boys at Portman Road.

Richards has been blamed for basically all of Town’s failings since he made his debut more then four years ago and against Birmingham he was booed off the pitch when he was replaced by Danny Haynes, but Richards says he will not let the boos get to him.  

 

Richards: “I am not going to let it affect me. I am above that. To be honest, I am not sure whether fans were being sarcastic to me or cheering the arrival of Danny (Haynes).

 

“As far as I am concerned it is over. It is in the past.”
