Town Eyeing Wigan’s Wright?

According to one of this morning tabloid newspapers Town are keen on Wigan Athletic defender David Wright.

The 26-year-old joined Wigan from Crewe after Jason De Vos joined Town in 2004, since Wigan’s promotion to the Premiership he has struggled to get in the Latics first team so much so he spent part of last season on-loan at Norwich.

The report suggests Town are ready to pay £200,000 for Wright who can play anywhere across the back which will suit Jim Magilton who is currently looking for a right back.
