Preview: Stoke - Town

Stoke look set to be without Dominic Matteo, Andy Griffin and Clint Hill for tonight’s game.

 

Stoke manager Tony Pulis: no pre-match thoughts currently available.

 

Town could be without Richard Naylor who has a toe injury but they will be missing Alex Bruce because of suspension and Jason De Vos who has a broken metatarsal. Alan Lee, Sylvain Legwinski and Gavin Williams are all minor doubts.

Town manager Jim Magilton: “Stoke have been very strong and the loan signings have catapulted them up the table. They are a very solid side, strong at home who are defensively tight and in Ricardo Fuller and Mamady Sidibe they have a front two as good as any in this division.

 

“They will come at us so we have to withstand that and go back at them with a little bit more.

 

“But we have pace in midfield now and a striker who can hit them on the break so I fancy our chances there.”
