Synnott Not Free

Town manager Jim Magilton has denied reports suggesting that Town youngster Michael Synnott has been given a free transfer.

Town manager Jim Magilton: “Michael is above the Academy age group now but he has been very unlucky with injuries over the last two years, he had a year out of the game after breaking his ankle so we decided to extend that 'scholarship' period for another 12 months.

 

“He will be staying at the Club until the summer and then we will make a decision from there about whether we will offer him a contract.”
