Jim’s Call To Fans

Town manager Jim Magilton wants Town’s travelling army of 4500 fans to get behind his team at Watford on Saturday.

Jim: “We have had a few bumps recently, but with our fans right behind us we have a perfect opportunity to get back on track, we need our supporters more now than at any time since I took over.

 

“It fantastic that we are in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

 

“It is a fantastic occasion for the players and I dearly hope for our supporters as well.

 

“We are the underdogs, there is no doubt about that, playing against a side that is in the top flight on merit and will be physical and aggressive opponents.

 

“But we have nothing to lose and everything to gain - and there will be no pressure of playing for three Championship points.

 

“I love the adrenalin that a Monday lunchtime cup draw brings and with the help of our fans I want to experience that again next week.”
