George Free To Face Wolves

Town midfielder George O’Callaghan is free to play against Wolves tomorrow night as Town are appealing against the red card he picked up against Watford.

George was sent off by referee Steve Bennett for supposed violent conduct after ‘stamping’ on Watford defender Danny Shittu.

 

Town manager Jim Magilton: “We have now seen the incident on TV and video and feel we must show solidarity with George, who is heartbroken over his red card.

 

“We are appealing on his behalf as his actions were not worthy of a sending off.”
