Too Good To Go Down

Town midfielder Owen Garvan says Town are too good to be relegated and the players are still behind the manager.

Town have failed to score a single goal in the last six matches and they have of course lost every game during that run but Owen says Town are too good to go down.

 

Owen: “We're convinced we're too good to go down and we are all right behind the manager.

 

“And along with my team mates I will be doing all I can to ensure our Championship survival.

 

“It is a massive game on Saturday, we are now under considerable pressure after a very disappointing run.

 

“And it will only increase if we don't pick up points soon.

 

“We don't want to be in a position where we are fighting for our lives in the final few matches - we want to clear ourselves of this over the next few weeks.

 

“I know the reputation of this wonderful club and along with my team mates will continue to give everything to move up the table. We are all right behind the manager.”
