PMM: Town – QPR

Reaction from Town manager Jim Magilton following Town’s 2-1 win against QPR earlier today.

Jim: “Of course it's a relief but I was confident going into the game because we have trained well all week. The players were desperate for a result, Rangers started brightly but then we gained a bit of composure and added a bit of quality to our play.

 

“I was delighted for John Walters. He deserved his goal and took it very well.

 

“He is a workaholic in training and his work rate on the field is fantastic. He has a certain pedigree that his education in the game has given him.

 

“This was a case of keeping things simple. Confidence comes and goes but you must always maintain a belief in yourself. We've won a game of football and now we must crack on.”
