Trotter Ready For Loan

Town midfielder Liam Trotter says he is ready to go out on-loan again if the team he goes to will guarantee him games.

Trotter had a three month spell on-loan at League 1 side Millwall earlier in the season but made only a handful of appearances before returning to Town, but he says go out on-loan again if he was going to be playing more games.

 

Trotter: “If a club came in that was going to give me regular football then I would go but I would want more of a chance to play than I had at Millwall.

 

“There would be no point going on loan somewhere unless I was playing, I may as well stay with Ipswich and play in the reserves and wait for my chance.

 

“I have another 18-months on my contract so all I can do is keeping working hard and hope the gaffer gives me another chance in the first team.

 

“I'm still working to improve my game and hopefully I can break into the squad more next year.

 

“Jim is always giving me pointers and I'm listening and learning and trying to do that out on the pitch. One of the things he has told me to do is score more goals and I managed that against Wanderers.”
