Jeffers Back

Francis Jeffers is back at Portman Road for a week in which time he will be examined by the Town medical staff.

Jeffers had a brief loan spell at Town from Blackburn Rovers earlier this month but it was cut short after he tore a hamstring against Southend but his recovery has been quicker then expected so he is back at Town for a week.

 

Jeffers: “I'm recovering quicker than I expected and have come back to Ipswich for the physio staff to have a look at how things are progressing, I'm here for the week to continue my rehab and we will take it from there.”

 

Town manager Jim Magilton: “Much depends on the injury and what Blackburn say but we would love to have Franny here for the rest of the season,”
