Lee Still Targeting 20

Town striker Alan Lee is still targeting 20 goals for the season despite only having one game left to do it in.

Lee is currently on 17 goals for the season and he faces his former club Cardiff on Sunday hoping to get a hat-trick so he can reach 20.

 

Lee: “It's my best tally, 17, but I don't want to stop there, I want to add to that number. I've had my eyes on 20 for the season so a hat-trick would come in handy!

 

“I played plenty of games but lack of form, the injuries, however you want to look at it, I didn't cut the mustard there, I have no bitterness towards Cardiff though. I won't be going out on the pitch with the attitude of 'I want to show you'.

 

“A manager won't get rid of a player that is playing well for them so there is no problem with me towards Cardiff at all. I wish them all the best.

 

“I was disappointed to see them slip away in the promotion race. I'm sure they were quite excited after the first few months but they will bounce back. I've still got a lot of friends down there and I wish the club well.”
