Jim Ready To Release

Town manager Jim Magilton says he will be telling players next week if they are to be kept at Town for next season.

There is a number of players expected to leave Portman Road in the summer after failing to make the step up to the first team from the youth and reserve teams. 

 

Jim: “We will have a review with every individual player and those surplus to requirements will be told then.

 

“I didn't want to send out any shock waves during the season but we will tell people next week.”

 

Town have been linked with moves for a number of former players during the summer, including Titus Bramble, Matt Holland, Tommy Miller and Richard Wright, but Jim says he will be careful about who if anyone he brings back, adding: “Bringing ex-players back can be dangerous so we will be very careful about that.”
