Two After Bent?

West Ham and Tottenham are reportedly lining up bids for former Town striker Darren Bent following Charlton's relegation from the premiership.

West Ham are said to be ready with a £12million bid for the striker who scored 12 goals last season while Spurs are set to offer £10million for him although Charlton are of course keen to keep hold of Bent as they hope to get promoted at the first time of asking next year.

If Darren moves to West Ham for the £12million quoted, Town will be due £1.88 million from Charlton as part the deal that took Bent to The Valley in 2005, they will get £1.48milion if he goes to Spurs for the £10million quoted.
