Town Not Giving Up On Signing Jeffers

Town chairman David Sheepshanks says he is still hopeful that Town can reach an agreement with Blackburn Rovers about the possible transfer of Francis Jeffers.

Town had a reported bid of £350,000 for the 26-year-old turned down last week, but Town chairman David Sheepshanks is still trying to reach some kind of agreement with Blackburn.

Mr Sheepshanks: "Blackburn have put an unaccountably high price on Jeffers but we are still hopeful an agreement can be reached."
