Bent Completes Spurs Switch

Former Town striker Darren Bent has completed a £15.5 million pound move from Charlton Athletic to Tottenham but Town won't be able to go on a summer spending spree.

Bent's transfer will land Town £2.58 million but it will be coming over a period of two years as Spurs will be paying Charlton over the next two seasons.

Town could land an extra £200,000 if Bent and Spurs reach certain targets that will bring the deal up to £16.5 million.
