Ian Miller and Sammy Moore are set for loans spells at Darlington and Brentford respectively.
Miller will be at Darlington for second time until January while Moore will be spending a month on-loan at Brentford.
Town manager Jim Magilton: "Ian enjoyed his time at Darlington last season and their manager, Dave Penney, who I know very well, likes him so it makes sense to allow him to go up there for another spell, we are well covered for central defenders at the moment and Ian going on loan will allow him to play regular first-team football over the first half of the season which will be beneficial to him and us.
"We will monitor his progress up there during games but he will also train with us for the first half of each week so he will still be very much part of Ipswich Town.
"I'm sure he will come back in January all the better for five months of regular first team football.
"The next stage for Sammy's development is to get him out playing games and a loan move would provide him with that opportunity, we have other young players here that I want to see play first team football as well so hopefully we can arrange for two or three of them to go out on loan."
