No Bids For Alan

Town manager Jim Magilton has confirmed there have been no new bids for Town striker Alan Lee, something he is happy about.

Hull City made two attempts to sign the striker who scored 17 goals for Town last season, both bids were of course rejected by Town who have since offered Lee a new contract.

Jim: "It's gone quiet on the Alan Lee front and I'm delighted about that, we can't stop clubs bidding for our players and I have no problem with that because it means other clubs like our players and that means they are doing something right at Ipswich Town.

"Alan's attitude and application has been top class. He has worked really hard on his fitness over the summer and has looked sharp in training and games."
