Town defender Richard Naylor has been told he can start running again following surgery on cartilage in his toe during the summer.
Naylor has been out of action since March with the toe injury which was eventually traced to some lose cartilage which required surgery which Naylor had during the summer and now he is fit enough to start running again.
Town physio Matt Byard: "Richard had a very positive meeting with his specialist last week, he is making great progress and is meeting the short term goals and targets set by the medical department.
"The specialist has told him that he can now increase his rehabilitation to include jogging and running in a straight line, which he has started this week.
"That has gone well and we will continue to monitor him daily and are very optimistic about progressing his staged rehabilitation further shortly."
