Rhodes Set For Loan

Town striker Jordan Rhodes is already being lined up for another loan spell despite only returning from Oxford this week.

Jordan spent a month on-loan at Conference side Oxford, starting four times, appearing once as a substitute and scoring twice and Oxford did want to keep the 17-year-old but they were refused permission as Town manager Jim Magilton wants him to be playing at a higher level.

Magilton: "Jordan did well at Oxford in his month there but there is now an opportunity for him to play first team football at a slightly higher level and we feel that is an important step in his development."

Rhodes is currently on standby for the England U18 side for their game against Ghana later this month.
