Naylor Injury

Town defender Richard Naylor is set to be out of action for at least a month after slipping a disk in his neck during a training session with Town.

Naylor has not played for Town this season after undergoing an operation of his toe during the summer, he has played for the reserves recently and has been named in provisional squads for Town's first team recently but he will now miss at least another month.

Town manager Jim Magilton: "He had a sore neck and Richard being Richard shrugs it off and played for the reserves against Norwich a couple of weeks ago, then he got a nudge in training and then another one and the discomfort got worse.

"He had a bulge in his neck so we sent him for a scan and they found he had a slipped disk in his neck and he needs to rest for a month.

"He is going up the wall as you would expect. It's bad news for him because he has recovered from injury and was pushing hard for a place in the team."
