PMM: Town 3-2 Scunthorpe

Town manager Jim Magilton has praised his side for showing as much character as they did during the 3-2 win over Scunthorpe on Saturday.

Jim: "It was a fantastic strike from Tommy and we needed that bit of quality to win the game, we have to give credit to Scunthorpe. They came here and worked really hard and we are going to have to get used to that.

"Teams are not going to want to be a stat. They want to end our record but my players showed resilience again. They just will not be beaten here.

"We can play better and we didn't zip the ball about like we can but it's three points and takes us closer to where we want to be."
