Town's kept their unbeaten home run going with a 2-0 win against league leaders West Brom earlier today, a result that lifts them back into the top six.
The game was an exciting one for both sets of fans as both teams carved out enough chances in the first half to have got two goals, Kevin Phillips hit the bar for West Brom and Ishmael Miller headed off target with the goal gapping in front of him. For Town Jon Walters Blazed over and Pablo Counago hit the post after some fancy footwork in the West Brom box.
With chances like that being created in the first half neither deemed it necessary to make changes at half time and the game continued as it had been in the first half with both sides making but unable to take chances.
Town finally took a chance in the 73rd minute when David Wright was on hand to head home Liam Trotter's cross from the left wing.
Town made sure of the points with 6 minutes left on the clock when Jason De Vos was on hand at the back post to head home Gavin Williams' free kick.
The 3 points lift Town up to 6th in table, 1 point ahead of Plymouth, Crystal Palace and Hull.
