Jim: We’re Being Patient

Town manager Jim Magilton is waiting for the right players to become available at the right price as he tries to improve his squad this month.
Jim: "Patience is not my greatest virtue but that's the nature of the situation we are in, we have made three bids and there are other irons in the fire. We are speaking to other clubs to find out if players are available but there are a lot of cat and mouse games going on at the moment.
"Some clubs are reluctant to let players go until they have got in replacements so you have a chain effect, almost like buying a house.
"We have to be patient. It's frustrating but that's the way it is.
"I don't know if it's to do with the transfer window but there are a lot of inflated prices around at the moment, but we will not be pressured into paying over the odds for a player. We will pay the right price for the right player."
