Town have (finally) completed the signing of Plymouth midfielder David Norris for an disclosed fee believed to be around the £2million mark.

The 26-year-old, who has been a target of Town since the summer, has signed a deal that will keep him at Portman Road until the summer of 2011.Norris has joined Town from Plymouth in deal that will keep him at the Club until the summer of 2011.

Town manager Jim Magilton: "I have watched David's career closely over the last few years and I'm delighted to have him now at this Football Club, but has been well documented that we have been trying to get him to Portman Road and I can fully understand Plymouth's reluctance to let him leave.

"Good players are always in demand and David's a very good player. He has all the attributes to help take this Club where we want it to be."
