Town face the prospect of another away day disappointment tomorrow afternoon when they head to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday.
Town will be without Sito, who is suspended. Dean Bowditch has returned to the squad in what looks like a straight swap with Billy Clarke who has been loaned to Falkirk until the end of the season. New signing Velice Sumulikoski is in the squad but will only be able to play if all the paperwork is completed in time. Stephen Bywater looks set to make his Town debut after signing on-loan from Derby County. Liam Trotter is back in the squad after serving a three game ban.
Town squad: Bowditch, Bruce, Bywater, Colgan, Counago, De Vos, Garvan, Harding, Haynes, Lee, Norris, Miller, Naylor, Quinn, Roberts, Sumulikoski, Trotter, Walters, Wright.
Town manager Jim Magilton: "We have options now, round pegs in round holes if you like and I want competition for places in every department, David Norris can play on the right or in the middle, Quinny can come in from the left and we are hoping Schumy can be involved as well so I think we are in a better shape now to offer cover to our back four.
"We know we have to start picking up points now on our travels and although we know it will be a difficult game for us at Hillsborough, we're all looking forward to it."
Wednesday will be able to had debuts to Enoch Showunmi and Graham Kavanagh who have both joined on-loan this week. Former Town loanee Francis Jeffers is injured so will miss out, Akpo Sodje, Steve Watson and Etienne Esajas are also out.
Wednesday manager Brian Laws: "It's taken a big haul to get out of the hole created when we were hammered at Portman Road in the opening game of the season.
"Ipswich are a good side; they'll be a good side tomorrow; they don't have an A plan at home and a B plan away; they'll still try to get it down and play and create.
"I don't know if their away record is a psychological thing; if it is, I hope it's still like that at five o'clock tomorrow."
