Gary Would Welcome Return

Town midfielder Gary Roberts would welcome a return to Portman Road, but only if he was figuring in Jim Magilton's plans.

Robert's is currently on-loan at League One side Crewe, where he has a bust up with coach Steve Holland about where he should be playing, but that aside he wants to return to Town.

Roberts: "We're waiting for a couple of things back at Ipswich, so I don't know yet if I can stay at Crewe.

"It is all about playing and on a personal point I want to play games. Crewe have helped me but it is up to Jim Magilton.

"If I was going to be in his plans I would go back."

He was easily our best player at Blackpool then Jim goes and dropped him, yes I'd give him another go, seems to be playing well at Crewe.
