Crewe Still After Roberts

Crewe Alexander coach Steve Holland is keen on taking Town midfielder Gary Roberts back to Gresty Road if he is fit enough to play.

Roberts returned to Town at the end of last week after completing his month's loan to the League One side but he has returned with an Achilles injury which may hamper a return to Crewe although Steve Holland is still keen on taking him back.

Holland: "We've got a phone call to make about Gary. The boy has signed all the forms, so they are ready to go, it is just a case of whether we are going to get any football out of him while he is here. These loans are expensive - that's a fact."
