Strain For Shefki

On-loan Crystal Palace striker Shefki Kuqi has merely strained his hamstring rather then tore it as some fans had speculated.
Shefki was injured just 11 minutes after coming on against Charlton at the weekend with a hamstring problem and had to be carried off on a stretcher. He will miss the game against Scunthorpe on Saturday although could be back sooner then expected. David Norris is a doubt for Saturday with a heel injury and could be out for the season.
Town physio Matt Byard: "Shefki's problem is a hamstring strain and he will definitely miss the Scunthorpe game at the weekend, we will monitor his progress through the week and have more of an idea on when he may be back either at the end of this week or the start of next week, depending on how his rehabilitation goes.
"We have not ruled David out of Saturday's game completely yet, although he is obviously doubtful, has a plantarfascia strain (heel) which is quite a common injury. He is keeping the weight off it at the moment and again he will be resting up this week and we will see where that leaves us in a few days time."
Meanwhile Jon Walters will have surgery on his knee on Wednesday and could be back in action for the final game of the season.
